School Board Considers 2010-11 Budget
Ellen Brown does a nice job with documenting this year's intense (as always!) Octoara School Board budget discussions. Check it out at: http://www.octorara.blogspot.com/ .
Parkesburg Lags In Census Returns
Last week I wrote that Parkesburg was holding its own on percentage of residents who had answered and returned their census forms. Since then the 'Burg has fallen behind.
Parkesburg's rate is holding steady at a respectable 62%. However every one of our neighboring municipalities is at least 5 percentage points in front of us. What gives?
You can see Parkesburg's up-to-the-minute results here:
http://2010.census.gov/2010census/take10map/
And if you haven't done so already send those Census forms in TODAY!
