Sounds of the Season
Whether you enjoy the more sophisticated sounds of the High School students or the sheer love of music on the faces of the younger children, please support the Octorara Music Program by attending one of the FREE CONCERTS below:
Tuesday, Dec 7th: Octorara High School Chorus Concert featuring a Candlelight Processional and Recessional, the Hallelujah Chorus (all Chorus alumni are invited to sing) and two small performance groups: Sopraltos Unplugged, a female vocal group and the Bravely A Cappella comprised of all male singers.
Thursday, Dec 9th: Third and Fourth Grade Students of the Octorara Elementary School joyfully sing holiday music at their Chorus Concert.
Tuesday, Dec 14th: Fifth and Sixth graders from the Octorara Intermediate School present their Holiday Choral Concert
Thursday, Dec 16th: The Octorara Middle School Holiday Concert includes both Chorus and Band performances.
Tuesday, Dec 21st: The Octorara High School Band performs its Holiday Concert featuring Guest Conductor Jere Fridy. All OHS Band Alumni are invited and encouraged to join the current band members in performing several numbers. There will be alumni rehearsals during December and music is available for “at home” rehearsals. Please email Sandy Reel, sreel@thebancorp.com, with your instrument, mailing address and year of graduation. If you can’t commit to playing this year, please come and enjoy the concert!
All concerts begin at 7:00pm and are at the Octorara High School Auditorium.
