A father and his 9 year old daughter were uninjured Saturday afternoon when their single engine plane made an unscheduled landing in an alfalfa field in Sadsbury Township, Lancaster County.
The pilot Bill Wills and his daughter, Jessie, were flying from Smoketown Airport on Route 340 in Lancaster County to New Garden Airport in southern Chester County when the aircraft experienced mechanical problems.
Happy to be alive, the experience isn't one Jessie will soon forget.
