Octotara Grad Carries Alvernia To A Field Hockey Win

Octorara grad and Alvernia University Junior Brittany Barcus scored a pair of goals while her goalie made four saves as Alvernia University (2-0) defeated Gwynedd-Mercy College (2-2) 4-2 Saturday afternoon in non-conference field hockey action at Schlager Memorial Field in Reading.
