"Slam Cancer" 3-on-3 Basketball Fundraiser

Give a gift that will have a direct and meaningful impact on the life of a local woman who’s battling Breast Cancer.  Tiffany Dickinson, a 1997 Octorara High School and a Misericordia University graduate, was diagnosed with Stage III Breast Cancer earlier this year and is currently undergoing aggressive treatment.  Besides being a wonderful daughter, supportive sister; caring and dedicated Child Care Director, Tiffany is an avid Philadelphia Sixers fan.

On October 9, 2010, Tiffany’s family and friends have planned a 3-on-3 basketball fundraiser.  The money raised will assist with the financial burden associated with this serious disease.  It will be used for continuous medical expenses incurred and living expenses during this difficult time.

By contributing towards this fundraiser, you can help to spread awareness and prevention of Breast Cancer; and help a beautiful, dedicated, humble, young lady’s fight against Breast Cancer.  Would you please help us?  Again, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament will be held on October 9th, inside the Octorara High School gymnasium. Any amount you’re willing to donate will be greatly appreciated!

In lieu of a financial donation, we’d also be happy to accept any donated items or services to auction. Please contact Jimell Burgess, Advertising and Donation Chair if you have an item you’d like to donate.  Mrs. Burgess can be reached at 717-397-2001 or hellokittygurl78@yahoo.com

Please contact chairperson, Deonna Harrell at 610-269-0257 or dharrellbsb@yahoo.com with any questions regarding financial donations.  I hope we can work together to support Tiffany’s battle and this special event.

Thank you in advance for your support in this worthy cause.

Tiffany is an absolutely wonderful person. I went to Keystone College and College Misericordia with her. I also played basketball with her in college. She is a kind hearted woman and would do anything for anybody. So do what you can to help!
