Rev. Jason Link invites area residents to come out and play!
Penningtonville Presbyterian Church is putting the finishing touches on
its Atglen Community Park at Ridge Avenue and Chester Street.
Built on
church property with help from community donations and muscle and a
wildly successful fundraiser, the new park will be open to the public.
The park features a playset, swings, and wiffle ball field. A pavilion will be finished next week as the concrete floor is poured and electricity is wired in.

An Eagle Scout project will soon provide
benches for the pavilion.
The church and its members should be commended
for identifying a need and pooling resources to better our community.
