Octorara Athletes Named to All-Area Teams

Last week the Daily Local News named the following Octorara athletes to their All-Area teams:

Boys Track

• Honorable Mention:  Cole Burkhart

Girls Track

• First Team:  Iyonna Dixon

Daily Local News writeup: "The sprint and jump specialist, finished 11th in long jump at the PIAA Class AAA Championships. She took seventh place in long jump and placed 11th in the 100-meter dash at districts."

 Girls Softball

• Honorable Mention:  Catherine Smith

Boys Baseball
