Chili's, Fast Wok Come Up Short


While most area restaurants scored well on Chester County Health Department's snap health inspections conducted earlier this year, Chiili's in the Walmart Plaza and Fast Wok on First Avenue came up short.

Chili's was cited for 2 critical instances of food not meeting temperature requirements together with several non-critical citations.

Fast Wok next to Fulton Bank on the other hand, received 1 critical citation for not protecting food from contamination/cross contamination and an additional 3 non-critical remarks.

The Health Department's website is quick to point out the inspection reports are one-time "snapshots" ...
"... of the day and time of the inspection. An inspection conducted on any given day may not be representative of the overall, long-term sanitation and food safety status of an establishment. "
