Another article, this time from Southern Chester County Weeklies, highlighting Cochranville Fire Company's unusual 9/11 commemoration ceremony next Thursday evening at 7 PM.
What makes this ceremony different from the thousands of other commemorative events being held across the country next week is the Cochranville Fire Company will be adding a piece of steel girder from one of the World Trace Center Towers destroyed on 9/11 to an existing memorial in front of the Fire company's building on Route 10.
Money quote:
[The Fire Company] is stressing that the dedication ceremony will not be a political event. It will be a simple ceremony, and expects the fire company chaplain will have something to say.
The fire company building is located at 3135 Limestone Road., Cochranville. For more information visit the fire company's web site at www.cochranvillefire.com
