The Best Italian Food In Pennsylvania

When somebody discovers I live in Parkesburg the most common reaction is the person starts gushing about how much they love Rocco and Anna's food and atmosphere.

In the 15 years since Rocco and Anna Pirozzi opened the door in 1996, the Italian restaurant at 302 Main Street has established itself as Parkesburg's best known restaurant and landmark.

The restaurant offers fine Italian cuisine based on old Abruzzese recipes and a casual, family-friendly atmosphere at an affordable price.

Customers can dine in one of the establishment's three dining rooms that seat 60 or order one of their delicious entrees to take out.

Luisa Pirozzi, Rocco and Anna's daughter, has assumed day-to-day management of the restaurant.  While Rocco and Anna move in and out of the kitchen, Luisa is behind the bar mixing drinks and keeping an eye on service and customer satisfaction.

Luisa recently oversaw the creation of a new web page for the restaurant and has worked diligently to improve service.

When asked about her favorite Rocco and Anna's entree, Luisa smiles and without hesitation says 'Linguine al Prescatore', a mouth-watering seafood dish simmered in marinara sauce and spread over a plateful of linguine.

Whether you're looking for a quick meal after long day, an intimate anniversary dinner or a small get together with friends and family, Rocco and Anna's is Parkesburg's premier choice.  You won't be disappointed.
