Merry Christmas!

While our homes are decked out with trees, gifts, reindeer and pictures of Santa, our hearts are turned to the Christ child born 2000 some years ago in a manger outside Bethlehem.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)

Politicians, business leaders and entertainers have power and money, but His life and Gospel offer us something they can't touch; the power to change hearts and lives, to make bad men good and good men better.

From our home to yours, may the peace He brought into the world find room in your heart, family and home this Christmas season.

Merry Christmas indeed!
