This from LancasterOnline earlier this weekend:
The Octorara Area School District welcomed two new teachers this fall.

The latest members to join the staff are Ryne Anthony, a seventh and eighth grade science teacher, and Katherine Smith, a math instructor to ninth through 12th graders.

The new teachers filled retirement vacancies. Octorara currently has 201 teachers, an increase of 25 positions over the past 15 years, according to superintendent Tom Newcome.
