Wilmington Band Sets Date For Benefit Concert

Wilmington's Sin City Band, a regional country/folk/folk group with a non-stop gig calendar, will play a concert benefiting the George Fox Friends School in Cochranville on Saturday, Sept. 10.   

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Oxford Friends Meetinghouse, 260 S. Third St., Oxford.  Tickets are $10, with seniors over 65 and children ages 4-12 admitted for $8.  

The Friends Folk Club is donating profits from the concert to the private school's early childhood education programs.       


Fall classes are under way at George Fox School, which offers infant and toddler care, as well as preschool, kindergarten and kindercare programs. For information on either the school or the concert, call 610-593-7122.
