Parkesburg Police Launch New Homepage

Who would have thought that our Parkesburg Police force would have the best public web page in the area.

Designed to serve as a resource for the communities served by the department including not just Parkesburg but Atglen, Avondale and Highland Township as well, the web page's photographs, links and design make navigating the site easy, quick and informative.

The site could easy become yet another resource for information about Parkesburg in our newspaper-starved town.

I suspect keeping the site current and up to date will be challenging for a force with so much on their plate.  For instance the home page contains information on the town's Halloween Parade, now more than 60 days ago.

The site remains under construction so we'll be checking back in the weeks and months to come to see how the site evolves.
