Parkesburg's mayor John Hagan declared a snow emergency beginning at 7:00 PM this evening and lasting until 9:00 AM Wednesday morning.
No parking is allowed on First Avenue, Main St, Route 10 and Strasburg Avenue. Cars parked along any of the four street will slow snow removal and may be towed at the owners expense.
Residents should shovel a 24" to 36" path on their sidewalks through the snow as soon as the snow ends.
