State Representative John Lawrence will hold a Town Hall Meeting This Friday morning, May 27th, at Parkesburg's Borough Hall on First Avenue beginning at 10:00 AM
The focus of the meeting will be the Governor Corbett's proposed state budget but other topics including education, public welfare, and corrections spending will be discussed by Representative Lawrence as well.
Lets hope Mr. Lawrence finds time during his presentation to talk about property tax reform and his efforts to bring more commercial development into the Octorara region.
Come out to hear what's going on in Harrisburg and ask the questions that are on your mind.

A little late and after the fact...but question begs to be asked.
"To whom does any elected official really wish to speak to when he/she holds a Town Meeting at 10:30 AM on a week day when all of us who are fortunate enough to have any type of employment are working?"
