Parkesburg/Atglen Traffic Statistics

Have you been frustrated trying to make a left turn off Main Street on to Route 10?

Or endured a two light (or more) wait on a Friday night to get through the southbound light at Right 10 and First Avenue?

The reason may be, as the map above illustrate, more cars are using those roads than ever before.

According to the map 22,000 plus vehicles pass through the Route 10/372 intersection every day.  Thats only 7,000 few cars than use the first stretch of the 30 bypass everyday and twice as many cars than pass through Atglen on Route 41 everyday.

Traffic in Parkesburg and the entire region seems heavier than ever.  The retail plaza at 10 and 30, new housing developments and weekend boaters shuffling off to points south Friday afternoon have only made it worse.

Tell us your favorite (i.e. worst) Parkesburg/Octorara region traffic horror story?  Has traffic gotten worse?  How do you beat it?
