Singer/Songwriter Records New Song

Parkesburg singer/songwriter Kevin Patrick has recorded a new song, "Unlock Your Heart." Kevin wrote the song specifically for a soon to be married friend.

Kevin and his wife Jessica together with their 2 year old son have lived at the corner of McCalls Ferry Road (Main Street) and Limestone Road for 3 years.

Here's a brief bio:

Kevin Patrick is a singer/songwriter originally from Hatboro. He is known for his roots rock acoustic style with an occasional blend of country blues.

He spent 9 years as lead singer of the Philadelphia hard rock band , Divine Loraine, recording 3 albums, (Honkies from Outer Space/Touch of Jazz and The Spark).  The Spark was nominated for best album in 2005 at the Philadelphia Music Awards.

Kevin has released three homespun EPs including Nomads Vl.1,  The Incremental Soul Sessions, In Between and most recently,"High FI Heart on a Low FI Budget." He has worked as a freelance musical journalist for Rootdown Magazine and contributed and written music for the Contempra Dance Theater in Wayne, PA.

He hopes to finish his full length concept album, The Hardest to Rattle with fellow musicians and companions Paul Miller, Dan Park, Will Moreschi, Andy Pennington, Tom Holman and Lexi Geib later this year. He currently resides in western Chester County with wife Jessica and son Dean.
